Hello! My name is Ran. Welcome to Moment by RZ—a space dedicated to capturing life suspended in time. My love for photography began in the black-and-white photos of my childhood, taken by my photojournalist father. He showed me how to see the world through a lens and introduced me to the quiet magic of the darkroom—a foundation that has stayed with me through decades of making memories. To me, a good photograph is never just about what is in front of the lens; it is an expression and projection of the photographer’s inner world. When something catches my eye, it sparks a quiet resonance between the scenery and my heart. That emotional connection is the exact moment I press the shutter. Through the frame, I aim to translate feelings that words often fail to capture. Pressing the shutter is only the beginning.
